Miss Eve Christine had her two month appointment on Friday. She’s almost 12 pounds and a little less than the 75th percentile in weight, height and melon circumference.
Oh how I love that gummy little grin…
Dressing babies has to be one of the hardest things in the world for me. Seriously. Just changed Eve’s diaper, which in the middle of changing, there was more pee. So, a simple diaper change turned in to daddy displaying his sub-par baby dressing skills! Geeeez… I’m bad at it. Poor little Eve. I got the onesie on easy enough, but when I tried to put the sleeper on over that, that’s when it all fell apart. After what felt like an eternity, I finally had to call out for some help. G.I. Joes and Transformers never prepared me for this.

Miss Eve gets to lose the tanning bed tonight! Her bilirubin levels are good and she’s eating well, so we’re very happy to get to cuddle with her instead of having to keep her on her tanning bed all the time. Her home care nurse will be out one more time tomorrow and after that as long as her levels are ok, we’re home free!
If you are interested in coming by to meet little miss Eve, I think we’re pretty much ready to have visitors this weekend. Just shoot me a text/email/call when you’d like to come by and/or if you need or address. Since I don’t have this website “privitized” yet, I don’t want to post our address, but my phone number is (612) 743-7282.
Everything is going really well, but as you can imagine, we’re still going through a lot of adjustments. The animals seem to be doing pretty good too… Winnie would like to do a lot more licking and sniffing, and has yet to learn that those awesome little pacifiers are not for doggies.
But overall, she’s doing a great job and listening really well for a 10 month old 60lbs puppy.

Here’s Eve doing her “un-tanning” with her fashionable shades!!
Well Miss Eve and I both are home now!! She’s still on the light therapy at home, but she got to lose her oh so fashionable shades and and the IV is gone. No more little club to make her demands with. Ahhhhh! So good to be home.

Here she is just about to head off to home!!
