Although Daddy… err…. Eve is crushed that the Vikings aren’t in the Super Bowl, she’s keeping spirits up!

Miss Eve Christine had her two month appointment on Friday. She’s almost 12 pounds and a little less than the 75th percentile in weight, height and melon circumference.

Oh how I love that gummy little grin…

Thanks to Mommy, Eve has her first cold. She’s sneezing and coughing away.

As you can see, she’s taking this downtime to reflect on the last couple months of her existence. ;) Mommy went back to work 3 days this week and Eve is hanging with a lovely family during those three days. It’s been quite the change, but both Mommy and Eve are adjusting relatively well.

5 More Days at Home…

Eve and I have 5 more days at home together until I go back to work on Tuesday. I can’t believe how fast it’s gone by. I feel like we just brought her home! I’ll be going back 3 days and we’ve found a lovely family for Eve to stay with during those days. She’s becoming such a little person, cooing, smiling and lots of tooting. ha!

Bath Day

Dear Daddy,

Apparently today was bath day. I’m not sure why Mommy insists on this torture. Once again she was complaining that I stink. I’m not sure what she’s talking about. Winnie thinks I smell great! She washed my face quite nicely this morning. I’m not sure why Mommy felt the need to duplicate efforts.

I can’t wait to see you when you get home!

Love,

Eve

One Month Young!

Miss Eve is a month young! She is the proud recipient of a lovely new cradle swing which both she and her parents have enjoyed very much. :) We’re starting to see the first glimpses of little Eve smiles that just might not be gas, though it’s hard to tell, since she’s a pretty gassy little girl.
